Hannah Yason (b.1979, UK) is an intuitive artist and art educator living in South Africa. Her artwork explores the depths and unknown pockets of both internal and external bodily spaces. Armed with her unique painting and drawing processes she is inspired profoundly by the essence of Shambhala Art. Her art works begin with a vision which surrenders to the unfolding of the process in the form of an active meditation. She is the mother of two children who are her muses and inspiration for her work. Hannah gained a BA Honours degree in Fine Art from The University of Reading, UK (2002) and had since taken part in group shows in both the UK and South Africa. In February 2022 she had her first solo show 'Chronicles of the Soul' at The Gallery at Grande Provence, Franschhoek. She has work in private collections in South Africa, France, Germany, America and the UK.
