HANNAH YASON

Subtlescapes is a series of abstract oil paintings inspired by movement meditation and the devotional music of Snatam Kaur. With a limited palette and repetitive long brush strokes the artist moves her brush to the rythmn of the music. Through her repetitive linear brush strokes and limited palette the artist is able to drop into profound states. The intention behind the works is to encapsulate the states and share them with the world through being embodied in the paint.
