When I was four I was afraid that there was not enough paper in the world for me to draw on. I made the decision to dive in. I never stopped.
For me, Art is like breath.
My works each represent a stepping stone of my journey on a path of increasing awareness and growth.
I have always used poetry and writing as a gateway to creative spaces. I find that writing sets a rhythm and path into the unknown and unpredictable realms of pure and authentic creative spaces.
My paintings grow from me and I simply allow them to be released. In my experience nature and stillness are often the perfect conditions within which ideas can flourish.
Since I was nine I have been a passionate swimmer. When I swim I feel like a fine thread of light flowing through the water. As well as swimming, since I was 18 I have practised yoga. I had an epiphany whilst at university of why yoga and swimming appealed to me so much. I realised that both swimming and yoga regulated my breath and lead me into meditative states of bliss.
All I know is that I must just continue with my flow to create.
